Prior to taking the leap into owning her own business, Stacy worked in Human Resource in a variety of industries – legal, health, insurance, environmental/chemical, local government and energy. While the mission slightly changed for each company, toxic commonalities between industries did not. You might identify with the common problems she encountered including bosses that took credit for her work and stole opportunities for themselves, unfulfilled promises of promotions and exciting work assignments that never panned out, long hours and weekend work just to keep above water, lack of creative thinking and organizational fear of change and, worst of all, an ill-timed layoff.
