She is a dynamic C-suite executive, former SEC corporate attorney, and accomplished management consultant with over 20 years of experience in both corporate and federal government sectors. Melanie has served in high-impact roles with a Wall Street investment bank, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and a global IT consulting firm.
A graduate of Spelman College and Harvard Law School, Melanie is a respected voice in Atlanta’s business community. She was named an Equilar/NASDAQ Top 50 Diverse Board Candidate and a 2024 Southeast finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® award.
She currently serves on the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship board at Georgia College and State University and the Harvard Law School Black Alumni Network. Her previous board service includes Georgia College and State University, the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health Community Advisory Board, Community Health Charities of Georgia, the National Black MBA Association Atlanta Chapter, and the Fulton County Land Bank Authority (Chairperson).
