Devon Dickinson is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and podcast host with a track record of building businesses from the ground up—and a heart for helping others do the same. Over the last 20+ years, he’s launched and led several successful companies across industries, including safety compliance, HR tech, coworking, energy efficiency, and real estate.
His entrepreneurial path began in 2002 when he founded Safety Services Company, which quickly grew into one of the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in the U.S. for eight straight years. From there, he co-founded Verified First, a background screening and HR platform that not only scaled nationally but also earned repeated recognition as one of Idaho’s Best Places to Work and a Deloitte 500 Fastest-Growing Tech Company.
In 2020, Devon started The Whiteboard Entrepreneur Podcast where he shared real stories from the messy middle of building a business and navigating life. Then in 2024, Devon rebranded his efforts to The Faith & Entrepreneurship Podcast—a weekly show that brings honest, practical conversations about business, leadership, and legacy, all through the lens of faith. It’s a passion project born from years of experience, wins and failures, and a desire to encourage others to navigate the complex and rewarding path of entrepreneurship.
He’s also the longtime varsity boys' soccer coach at Gilbert Christian High School, where he enjoys investing in the next generation and keeping his competitive edge alive on the sidelines. In 2024, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by leading his team to a State Championship.
Devon lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Cindy (they’ve been married since 1996) and their four kids. Through all his ventures, he remains grounded in faith, driven by purpose, and always ready to jump in and help a fellow entrepreneur take their next step.
